Well, now it seems a certain individual is tryin' to rip me off. Not content with teefin' my lyrics, this "friend" appears to want to take my intellectual property. Easy Peeps!
Alright? So since the last time..... Well, lookin' to get a band together now I put the word out on Facebook. In the meantime I've been sampling live percussion (tams, shakers toy horns ect).
I'm now trying to get myself a laptop (who'd of thought, eh?) so that if the band thing goes pear and in the interim, I can at least perform my own stuff live. Time to bump things up a notch!
Anyway, I got back on sat 21st, from a week in Torbay (Brixham to be exact) with Lucy. It was nice to get away from the same old, and for saying that we got there on sat 14th, the weather didn't turn til Thursday evening. The locals were very friendly and we found the wickedest pub (Hole in the Wall, Brixham). Nice staff, nice beer, good company and, because it was Wednesday, free jukebox (stacked with loadsa mint tunes).
So, now I'm Back in Derby. It's the wee hours of Thursday mornin', its been rainin' most of the day and I've been workin' on tunes for most of the day, in part with Tiger Tee. Yesterday I realised I need to step my game up! MISSION ON !!!

Easy!!
Easy peeps! It's been a while, so I thought I'd drop by and let you know what's been gwaanin'. Well I've been pressin' on with the 'Stone Benj' project, still tryin' to perfect my sound. I have been buying up percussion instruments at a facinating rate as well as samplin' all manner of random noises (ACE).
Really lookin' to get a band together as well, put the word out on Facebook, gonna do the same on Myspace. I really wanna make this happen 'cos I got big plans (watch this space).

Oh! Hello!
Easy peeps! Long time no speak. So anyways, just started work on the new album Stone Benj.Don't expect a rush job on this one I want to produce and perform an absolute banger! All I can say at this time is I'm goin' truly back to my hip hop roots and this is going to be a real labour of love.
Any how enough shop talk. Let's riff about the World Cup. The FA are right not to sack Fabio, just look at the man's cv and tell me, who's better equipped for the job? There are a lot of people saying "the next England manager should be English" but here are a few facts:
England have never even won the Euro's, let alone the World Cup, we have no business expecting our players to win a World Cup until we win the Euro's
Bobby Robson, Graham Taylor, Terry Venables, Glenn Hoddle, Kevin Keegan, have all failed to do this so then we called in Sven, ok this didn't quite work out, but in a knee-jerk reaction we then turned to one Steve macclaren who when asked to couldn't even get (what is essentially the same group of players we have now) to even qualify for the Euro's. Moral of the story? Be careful what you wish for 'cos you might just get it.
Glad to get that off my chest, chat soon! PEACE!!!

Hello again!!
Since the last time.......I've just finished doing jury service, I did 2 weeks and finished last Thursday. I won't go into any details of the case, suffice to say it involved 3 kids & a man (do the maths). Anyway, doing jury service has taught me 2 things; I don't really have aproblem gettin' up in the mornin' and secondly, and more importantly, I no longer haver a criminal record (GOOD TIMES). When Thursday came, I went home. Jammily gettin a free bus home, bought 2 Red Stripe & headed down to Marc's.
Went to Burton on Friday bouught an old record of Bill Cosby in stand up mode. I see a few samples......

If you ain't black........
If you ain't black please refrain from talkin' patois. I mean, first of all it's insultin' to black folk , you wouldn't go to Scotland and start talkin' Scottish. Secondly, I am of Jamaican descent but I've never been to Jamaica- hence why I don't really talk patois, unless I am with family or just jokin' around. It is only acceptable when you live with a black person or hang around with black people on a v regular basis. WE ARE NOT AMUSED!!!!
